James Michael Smith, MD

James M. Smith, MD, earned his medical degree and completed his internal medicine residency from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Dr. Smith is board certified is internal medicine and has been serving the Coweta community for over 25 years. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians Group, Dr. Smith was in practice at the PAPP Clinic. His special interests include diabetes, heart disease and hypertension.

In his spare time, Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with his family and three children. Dr. Smith is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
