Sandra Richards, NP

Sandra Richards, NP earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization as a Family Nurse Practitioner from South University and a Post-Master’s Certificate as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) from Mercer University. She is dual board certified as an FNP-BC and AGACNP-BC by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

She brings over 20 years of oncology nursing experience at Emory Hospital, including the Winship Cancer Institute at Emory Midtown. Sandra is a new graduate NP and will be joining the Medical Oncology team at Rockdale in her first NP role. Her clinical experience is rooted in oncology nursing.

Her special interests include improving health care disparities and cancer survivorship. In her free time, she enjoys the arts, attending plays and musicals, and reading a good book.
