Rom Karin, MD

Rom R. Karin, MD, is an otolaryngologist (ear, nose and throat specialist) who specializes in head and neck surgery to help patients with ear, nose and throat disorders.

Dr. Karin has surgical expertise performing a wide variety of procedures, including advanced endoscopic sinus surgery, septoplasty, tonsillectomy, head and neck cancer surgery, and thyroid surgery. His expertise also encompasses surgical treatment for snoring, sleep apnea and voice disorders.

Committed to patient-centered care, Dr. Karin explains, "My care philosophy is to always do what's best for the patient. I strive to provide the most advanced techniques with a compassionate and caring attitude."

Dr. Karin is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and the American Rhinologic Society.

Outside of work, Dr. Karin is an avid mountain biker. He is married to Dr. Mardi Karin, who is a clinical professor of surgery at Stanford. Together, they enjoy spending time with their adult children and their grandchildren.
